Abstract
This research deals with the family in the Epic of Gilgamesh because it is important that the epic deals with an era that is one of the early civilizations of Mesopotamia, which enables us to obtain information about the life of the families in ancient times and their circumstances and social roles and their differences of social and economic as well as links between them And relations within the framework of the society in which it lives, the community of Uruk in the era of the epic, which some people assume roles of the early Dawn of the breeds (the limits of 3000 - 2600 BC)
