Abstract
There is no doubt that the political environment that aroused after the US occupation of Iraq in 2003 and the nature of the political and religious discourse adopted at this stage played a role which couldn’t be ignored in devoting a culture of extremism and sectarianism in all its forms among the Iraqi people and pushing towards strengthening narrow loyalties at the expense of national comprehensive loyalty.
