Abstract
It is one of the most important features of the identity and one of the most important elements of its existence and its steadfastness, inspired by its original values of cultural tributaries that support its presence and prevent it from decaying and subservience, fed by these tributaries and perpetuating its presence over the ages. In the making of Arab identity, this literature has revived the trait of citizenship and the defense of the land in many of its models that have reached us through history. In the pre-Islamic poetry, especially in Laqeet Bin Yaamur's poem is the declaration of the image of the citizen defender identity of defending the family and homeland, and protect it and protect the heritage of the rapist enemy, so this poem clearly exprsed for authentic values represented the identity of citizenship, this study came to discuss the contents of this poem expressing those values.
