Abstract
Gnosticism is derived from the Greek word gnwsij, which means knowledge and indicates the secret knowledge of God that its followers claim to own. The Gnostics focused on the knowledge of God rather than on religion, which gave it a Sufi character and made followers of Sufism sympathetic to it. The study of the German Orientalist Heinz Halm Gnosticism in Islam among these studies, and selected the second chapter of the researcher, including the Kisanis or the Shiites of the four, who are the Imam Muhammad bin Hanafiya after Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), and studied instructions Gnosticism The researcher used several sources that deal with Islamic sects, general history books, and some books of interpretation, and came to the conclusion of the book. A number of results, including the intervention of the political factor in the issue of the Gnosticism of the difference and difference, and the selectivity that Halm studied for some of the teams without scrutiny, and thank God the Lord of the Worlds.
