Abstract
The Mamluks of Iraq are a dynasty of governors whose origins date back to the land of the Quraysh and Circassians. Some of them are of Persian origin. They ruled from the mid-18th century until the first quarter of the nineteenth century. While the others demand the post after they break the covenants to control the internal situation and protect the external borders, especially with Iran, while collecting taxes in its circles and mentioning the name of the Sultan in the speeches and the prayer of the group and the Eid.
