Abstract
Since a long time, the Iraqi Universities paid much attention to the study of the Iraqi academic personalities in the field of history as they have a great role in revealing many historical facts, and to dig deep into their ideological and scientific production. The study presents following this to shed light on the historical academic individuals and study their biographies as well as their scientific and practical contributions. Dr. FarroqSalih Al-Omar is a representative example of those great historians who offered the contemporary Iraqi history school great addition over sixty years of his carrier.
