Abstract
The present study aims at shedding light on the relationship between deflation and dune movement in the sample of the study. In addition, it aims at investigating the intensity of deflation and the extent of its spread in the area of the study so that this study became a source and guide for those who are interested in the plans of environmental development so that to program these plans in the way that this area serves. The study has concluded that in comparing the spaces that are affected by defilation and the spread of sand dunes between the years (2000), in which it was (995.2 km) to represent (1.9%) of the area of the governorate which is (51740 km), and the spaces affected in the year of the present study (2017), which was (10189.76 km) to form (19.7%) of the area of the study.
