Abstract
This research is a study to the references of the Legendary Repetition in the Arabic Poetry until the end of the Umayyad Era; I tried to disclose about the reasons that poets hiring to these references, the researcher notices that the legendary poetic texts and mythical can be strongly present in the poetic texts for the Arabic poets, the poets take inherit this reference generation after generation each one takes from it what is useful for his poetic experience, for that there are many technical factors that obliged the artist to use his own way to choose his poetic model.
