التحليل المكاني لخصائص رواسب الحصى في صحراء المثنى واستثمارها
Abstract
Area of the study is considered us part of the southern desert of Iraq. It occurs between (29 03- 31 37) latitudes from the north, and (44 52 -46 15) longitudes from the south. Administratively, it occurs in Al-Muthanna province with (46254.5KM2). It is characterized by variations in its height. Geologically, it occurs wirhin the stable breath. Cobblestone deposits supply building and constructions sector with most materials. These deposits are characterized by variations of their sizes and shapes. Such deposits spread in valleys basins and their estuaries. This helps in the formation of basins in Abu-Ghar, Abu-Hudher, Abu-Muris, and Al-Sha"ly valleys. It is shown from the analysis that there is a variation in the size and shape of gravels. This may be invested to build additional basins in the area.
