Abstract
The study is aimed at trying to calculate the load pastoral land Zubair spend in the province of Basra with the aid of satellite images, US (Land Sat 8) and on a monthly basis by applying the greenness coefficient (NDVI) and the calculation of natural greenery and carefully leaving so traditional methods to calculate the load pastoral natural pastures anywhere and thus to determine there was a case of overgrazing taking place in these pastures or not, as affirmed in this study, as it turned out through research that the state of overgrazing recorded in the pastures of the judiciary in December and the month of April only during the duration of the study, which ran from the October 2014 to June 2015.
